November 2, 2009-Christina Miller of Union City, New Jersey, recently collected her $250,000 second prize for matching the first five numbers in New York’s Mega Millions drawing held on September 29, 2009. Miller was the sole Mega Millions player from New York to win the $250,000 cash prize.
Miller works as a senior director at BMI New York. “After work, I stopped at a Lottery retailer and purchased some Mega Million tickets. I am so glad I did,” said Miller. She plans to make some home improvements and invest the rest of her prize.
Miller purchased her winning ticket at Hudson News, 625 8th Ave., 4th Fl., in Manhattan.
