November 10, 2009-Rodrigo Leiton of Lynbrook, Nassau County, recently collected his $250,000 second prize for matching the first five numbers in New York’s Mega Millions drawing held on October 16, 2009. Leiton was one of five Mega Millions players from New York to win the $250,000 cash prize. Leiton, a self-employed construction worker, is married with three children. “I checked my numbers on the ticket checker at the Lottery retailer. I was so excited I won, I yelled in the store,” said Leiton. With his prize he plans to pay bills and invest the rest.
Leiton purchased his winning Quick Pick ticket at 5 Corner Convenience Store, 353 Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
